What to expect:
At this 2-hour workshop, learn the basics of glassworking, all while learning to cut, assemble and fuse your very own fused glass jewelry pieces. Watch on the spot how pieces are fired through a special glass window in our kiln.
Each participant will get to take home 2 items of your choice: A Pendant, A Pair of Earrings, and/or a Pair of Cufflinks.
Workshop fee includes jewelry accessories so that your piece can be worn.
Pieces require time to cool and will be available for collection 1 week later.
This workshop is for beginners and no prior experience is required.
Materials/tools provided High quality fusible glass from US (colored glass and pre-cut base) to make 2 items, glass cutters, pliers, safety equipment, jewelry accessories
Important things to note:
Classes are taught by a professional glass artisan with more than 25 years of experience in glassmaking, including techniques in fusing, kilnforming, sandblasting and stacked glass
Children between ages 7 to 12 are welcome to join in, with parental guidance
Participants are advised to wear covered shoes
